Our Preschool is in need of
volunteers to help with childcare
either in the AM or PM. Please
contact Patty Boska for more
information.
Our program can only grow as large as our
volunteer base will allow. Without the
Cherub Church family’s will not continue to
come because will can’t provide care for
their children. We are looking for volunteers
for Sunday mornings and special events
during the week. If you are interested
contact Cathy Diaz @ 438-8557.
Grapple
Join us this afternoon from 5-5:30.
All children ages 3– 5th grade are
invited. God is at work in this program already. We currently
have 20 children in 4th and 5th grades that will be
involved. Please continue to pray for this program
that God would use us to teach these children Biblical
principle to base their decisions on and a firm foundation
on which to stand.
Child Volunteer Classes
For those of you who have been through the process
to become an approved volunteer you were
given a packet titled “Child and Youth Protection
Policy”. In order for us to stay in compliance we
are required to attend a training session on this
policy. Sunday September 30 we will hold this
training from 2-5. If you are interested in helping
in either of these ministries you are invited to attend
as well. For more

Presario SR 5113 WM desktop PC, plus a Compaq
Widescreen for $576.72 Computer can be purchased at
Wal Mart.
Prime Timers
Please join us, the Prime Timers on September 18th
for an Oriental Luncheon in the C.L.C at 11:45 AM
cost is $5.00. The speaker will be Larry Powell on
Alzheimer's “What you need to know”. Friends are
welcome.
HELP NEEDED: Setting up and serving the luncheons
for the Prime Timers starting September 18, 2007.

BELL RINGERS WANTED!

The goal: to become a House of Prayer Church.
We have set up prayer as a top
priority, realizing that the whole ministry of St.
John’s depends upon the ministry of prayer.
We invite everyone to “House of Prayer Time”
in the chapel every Wednesday at 6:00 pm.
This will be a time for prayer focused on each
ministry, pastor, lay leader, etc. Each week will
begin with a sharing of answered prayer in our
ministries. You can stay as long or as briefly as
you want, praying silently or aloud. let’s reach
the goal together!

the Fall Festival, there will be
booths, food, and games. Please
