General

Polk County Sherriff's Office offers several FREE adult programs.  Diane Pierett is interested in attending the Personal Safety Program and the WOmen's Basic Self-Defense Program.  These are one time classes, 1/2 hour and 1 hour classes, respectively.  While the latter program is for women, the former one is for both men and women.  In order to make an appointment to attend either of these classes, there needs to be at least 15 people attending.  If interested in either of these two programs, please contact Diane ASAP at 863-9650-9340.  This is something that Diane would like to do before she is released to go back to work which hopefully will be in the near future. THank You.

The Goal: To become a house of Prayer Church.
We are setting prayer as a top priority, realizing that the whole ministry of St. John's depends upon the ministry of prayer.  We invite everyone to the "House of Prayer TIme" in the chapen every Wednesday at 6:00 pm, beginning Sept. 5. This will be a time for prayer focused on each ministry, pastor, lay leader, etc. each week will begin with a sharing of answeered prayer in our ministries.  You can stay as long or as briefly as you want, praying silently or aloud. Let's reach the goal together!
